I've just finished watching The Mentalist. I recently started watching it and couldn't stop, I got hooked right off the bat.
I might be late with watching the series, I heard that they are closing in on the last couple of episodes in season 7 before ending the show which is very sad .

Is there any series that you guys could recommend to me that are like The Mentalist? I'm not a series guy, I don't watch series alot at all, but this got me hooked as I said above.

Because all of those 5 shows aired on HBO.

I vouch for True Detective, I really liked it, Matthew was awesome in it.

I've never seen the mentalist, but I can vouch for his list. HBO has some of the best shows on television imo
