It's a shame he died in real life as well. Drug overdose. While joss said he was always planning on killing off doyle so the visions could pass to cordy, there's an unsubstantiated rumor that his early departure was due to drugs but interviews with the cast said they had no idea he had a drug problem and were shocked at his heroin overdose.

It's also a shame that fox being the dumbasses that they are, cancelled the show just when the shit hit the fan. Having read the comics and the storylines joss had planned for the following seasons, LA after the fall would've been so awesome to see.

That's unfortunate

I saw a post on another forum about a streaming site continuing shows that have been cancelled. Most with same actors so there's a little hope that it may happen. I also read somewhere that david boreanaz would do more so who knows. We can have hope right? Lol

I loved this show. Season 4 went a bit poop.

For real.. that ending though..aaaaaaaaaargh. Kind of seemed like a cheap way to go. He was supposed to STOP the apocalypse, not say he's going to kill a dragon and then end it

That wasn't the apocalypse. The senior partners pulled LA into a hell dimension. Also, joss had plans for much more stuff as seen in the comics he wrote to continue the story. Fox pulled the rug out from under them.
