It is a very good show for those who appreciate it - great cast and incredible script. Very clever.

I don't post on here often, but had to. The Newsroom is probably top 3 for me in terms of ANY series, and I'm not a big Aaron Sorkin fan. I got really burned out during The West Wing.

The Newsroom is just incredible though. Sort-of-spoiler: to those that watched the episode on the plane regarding a certain person... I was in straight goosebumps and borderline crying when he announced that shit to the captain.

The opening scene where Will talks about America not being the greatest country in the world? Best hook of any series I've ever watched.

Show is a solid 9/10 for me, and I can't wait for the final season, even if it will be bittersweet.

felt a bit slow at first but turned really good towards the end

See I watched that speech about America in the first episode and thought "oh this might be a good show".

Watched a few episodes and vowed never to watch it again.
