only watched American Horror and it one of the best shows ever, especially season 1 + 2, season 3 was a bit disappointing but season 4 starts tonight and looks promising

so definitely worth checking out

I'm 6 episodes into the first season of American Horror Story. Can't say it's bad, but it fails to captivate me (and it isn't scary..). Production, acting, ... is all above average, especially for a TV-show. Maybe it's just the story that's too cliché, I dunno.

Hannibal took me a while to get into as well. Second season definitely better than the first...

maybe you're thinking a complicated story in a tv series is too important , tv series are all about the characters.
Plus American Horror has like 10+ emmy nominations and alot of critical acclaim.
Does Hannibal even have any Emmy nominations?
Plus doesn't Hannibal have a brand new serial killer every week?
So its kinda like comparing a chapter with an entire book.
Also i have no faith in NBC.

I missed the first two seasons of American horror story. My girlfriend forced me to watch "The Coven" season, which is season 3 I think. If the rest of the show is like season 3, I'm all set.

As for Hannibal, the set design, sound design, and practical effects, are some of the best on television. My major issues with the show are, the lead actor, and how absurd the deaths are. It went from imaginative to silly as fuck in just a few episodes.

Season 3 of American Horror Story wasn't great - the first 2 season are completely different - plus they change the story every season - I can't think of a another show that does that. But if you already watch season 3 first, your opinion might be already decided.
This season they're supposed to be more Horror and suspense so again its going be alot better/

How about you go fuck yourself?
I don't need you to tell me what I should and shouldn't like.

An appeal to popularity is a logical fallacy.
