I'm a sucker for the light sci fi shows. anyone else gonna see it?

i'm not a huge fan of the sherlock holmes trick (remark/question that seems impossible to know, then explaining after), so we'll see where this goes.

/edit fuck, i meant FOREVER as the title. dunno where i got breaker from

first few minutes of the show. dude goes on a train, sits next to a woman he never met.

Dude: [speaks russian to her]
Girl: how'd you know i was russian
Dude: you have some russian chocolate on your face
[pause]
Dude: Good luck with the performance tonight
Girl: [looks at him in surprise]
Dude: Sorry, i noticed the indentations on your fingers. at first i thought violin, but the space seems too wide and there's no markings on your chin, so...cello.
Girl: [gives flirty look] How did you know i had a performance?
Dude: your collar has moisture, so you just showered. i figured you're either going to work or on a date. a woman as beautiful as you wouldn't be taking the subway to a date.

Just finished the first ep. I'm not pleased about the sherlock trick. the show feels like sherlock holmes (flashy deduction) meets john doe (know-it-all police sidekick) meets new amsterdam (immortal crime solver). i'm guessing it'll get cancelled within the first season.

i'll still watch it anyway.

AbC is just trying to catch on to the success of CBS's Elementary by making him like "Sherlock" smart.

On one hand they say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, the other hand is saying - why re-invent the wheel?

Studio's have been doing this forever cause it just confuses the heck out of people and then they don't know what the hell to

do, and then in their confusion start watching Dancing with the Stars. See its all part of the big plan.

Where do i know that actor from - cant remember if it was something good or bad - hmm.

just imdb'ed him - hes the guy from the Fantastic Four movies - Never really believed he could get Jessica Alba... i Know it was Science Fiction but that was just pure fantasy.

sounds interesting, even if it's similar to sherlock's principle, might still be entertaining. I like the idea of someone cursed to immortality and being hold enough to have seen enough to become so perceptive especially considering his work at the morgue.
