Maybe the new series: Penny Dreadful?
It's not necessarily concentrated on vampires, but it is a great show and might be interesting

I hate new series, nit ennough episodes i prerer catch up later when theres 3 season out

The originals is better than vampire diaries.

Also try The Gates, it only lasted like 2 seasons I think
