Teenagers trying to save the day?

and i cant watch the walking dead since its 9 episodes of "character building" then kill said character off and thats the big shocker

If you're gonna watch TV and expect that much from every single show, you might wanna step outside and do something or maybe grab a book.

know any non-manga/anime related novels similar to code geass? i'm reading the light novels now, but i'd like to read something not related to manga/anime.

eg kid gets a super power and takes over the world with it

Hum that's pretty specific.

That premise is fairly similar to Death Note tho if you don't mind one more anime.

yeah i've watched it, havent read the light novels yet. doesn't have to be that exact plot. i've come across a lot of novels about "good guys" that fight some villain who's trying to conquer (eg: harry potter, twilight, ender's game, LOTR, hunger games, star wars, etc), and i'm tired of it. i'd like to read from a villain's perspective who succeeds in his conquest. i've already read several of the dexter novels. maybe something like breaking bad, where a good person slowly gets twisted and builds an empire?

Why not read game of thrones then? No one is really a good or bad guy, but they're all killing each other for the throne.

Yes some are based off teenagers, but most aren't.

ive been meaning to watch the show, but i never got around to it. i tried listening to the audio book, i got around 2 hours into it (out of 33) and quit. dunno if it's a slow start or if the narrator isn't doing it for me. would prolly be helpful to watch the show so i know what's going on better

Yea I'm more of a "watch the show" kind of guy anyway. And this is like the biggest TV show production out there. It's amazing.
