Saw the commercial for it a few times, and thought why not? Sat down to watch one episode on Hulu, and 6 episodes later I was mad that I have to wait until the 30th for the next episode.

Anyone else watched this show yet?

I give it a 9/10. Which is pretty impressive for me.

Yeah. I was honestly surprised. Couple cgi sequences that looked pretty fake, but other than that I've loved it. Great story, great acting, and it kept me interested for like like 5 hours straight. Couldn't stop watching

i thought it felt really silly. the future of human kind depends on whether earth is liveable, so obviously they send teenagers to study it. it's not like they need scientists to determine if food can grow or look at radiation. and they send hot young girls to a planet expecting her to die; not like they need healthy women for breeding purposes when the species is dying out. they dont tell/train the kids at all. and the kids just want to have fun, swim in liquid "water", eat anything they see (which is likely contaminated by radiation), etc.

Well they all have training of some kind. Like Finn, specialized in tracking and something else. They keep referring to him acing the "level 4 class". And Wells mentioned he aced Botany, and he figured out which plant to use for medicine and such. I think they sent some criminals that were murderers and such to just get rid of them, and then a bunch of the kids were very smart and specialized in certain aspects. Like Monty with communications and engineering. I think some things could have been explained better, but they also have a unique way of explaining events and decisions after the fact. I enjoy how it isn't a straightforward plot that just anyone and everyone can tell what's gonna happen.

They would have conducted those tests and still can

They used the criminal teens as lab rats, to first see if it's safe to go down to the planet and conduct the tests

The show is a bit silly, there's a lot that doesn't make sense

I think though the girls mother was the greatest advocate for sending the juveniles down though because she thought that there was a good chance they would make it and it was better than being locked up / waiting to rot away in space and die

Still a lot that doesn't make sense though

They are slowly filling in the holes though, and it's not just straightforward "here, we'll tell you everything, like every other show does".

Some of it makes you think and makes your imagination go wild. I kinda like it
