being huge fan of Darren Aronofsky films ( requiem for a dream, Pi, Black Swan etc... ) i was rly looking forward to it but reviews look quite disappointing =[

not sure if i should go to the cinema tomorrow, its over 2 hours long and i dont wanna be there like .. ZzzZzzzzz

I believe it's based on a comic book more than the actual bible story

also a big fan of the director but noah is one of the worst films possibly created

yup i wasn't even expecting it to follow Bible story, but if put that aside is it really that bad ?

It was not that bad. People are just hating on it becauseit is a Bible story and hating religion is the cool thing to do. The story was told nicely, the passage of time was shown very creatively and the acting was good.

That said, this was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Demons in the form of stone minions helping Noah build the Ark; magical snake skin from Lucifer giving men magical powers; Noah's children rebelling against him, talking back against him, like modern day kids do to their parents, and so on. It was a very bad movie. It was so obvious the director didn't believe in either God or the Bible, and was mocking it.
