Bored, need a show to watch here and there when I find myself with a little spare time. Checked out Netflix, both shows looked interesting, just wondering which of the two that you guys found better or enjoyed.

Even if you haven't watched both, comment on the show that you did watch could be helpful.

Didn't see a thread for them, and I don't want to get hit by spoilers when I enter a discussion thread

I would go with hemlock first only because by the time you probably finish it the second season of bates motel will probably be finished airing so you will be able to catchup with that show both are excellent though and hemlock has literally the best fucking warewolf transformation I have ever bore witness 2 hands down

Yes. Hemlock grove werewolves are actual wolves, but the transformation is closer to that of the shape shifters in supernatural but instead of shape shifting into another person it's a wolf. Not for anyone with a light stomach.

Have you seen ginger snaps? best werewolves ever. But I will have to give this show a shot.

I actually agree with you on something.

I've seen all of the ginger snaps movies. The transformation in hemlock is better.

I watched a video of the transformation and it seems like a very inefficient way of doing things. So much energy would be wasted everytime. Are werewolves the result of a curse in the lore?

So I'm not really liking Hemlock Grove, 4 episodes in right now.

I think I'm going to go for Bates Motel right away
