I've been waiting on the remake for years and now it's finally here!

the only thing that worries me is that it's rated pg-13..

robocop better not have gone soft on me now!

it wont be better then the original but i bet it will be better then the sequels

ok lets be honest when you say "it won't be as good as the original," you do not actually mean that. the original may be better for when it was made but it will not be better than one made in 2014. the technology from now compared to then is ridiculous.

The technological difference between then and now makes little difference, that wasn't the appeal of robocop. The appeal was the darkness and grit which will be somewhat lost with a pg-13 rating, so by default it won't be as good as the original. Flashy effects won't make up for the loss of the grittiness that made robocop such a great movie. Not to say the remake won't be any good but it can't be as good as the original. So yes they actually do mean that, what you posted was your opinion, not in any way a representative of the truth.
