I don't know whether to hate or love this movie... I really enjoyed it... But.....

why question it then?

I hate movies/tv series without meaning/proper endings. The movie had meaning but the way it was shown.... The ending suffered because of it... The message of the movie wasn't clear enough. I had to think about what the meaning was to truly understand what happened.... I would have loved to see more to wrap things up better..

What also irritated me that Ben Kingsley played a Maori...

Being australian and seeing maoris everyday. he aint no maori lol.

Read the book.

Oh don't even talk. There are just as many good adaptations as bad.

you can't really say that though.. the book was incredible, and the movie was good as well

but there is just no possible way to include as much into a movie as you can into a book. they did a great job imo of keeping to the story line of the book

anyway both the book and the movie were enjoyable
