Not a lot of cool threads so here's one, the game is simple, a user posts two movies, preferably ones that are kind of similar (i.e. Blade Runner vs. Aliens) and the next user states which they think is better/they prefer it. Brief statement or a longer one, doesn't matter.

Reservoir Dogs is my personal favorite of the two. I like both Tarantino and Scorsese, but I feel like the characters that Tarantino creates are always more complete than the characters in Scorsese films. And in Reservoir Dogs in particular, I really liked the way the story was edited together as well. Taxi Driver was cool because Robert DeNiro always delivers, and there were several scenes that were raw as fuck. But I still think that the overall story was a bit hollow, and Tarantino on the other hand is a master of incorporating small details or dialogue which add the exact right amount of insight and filling into the story to get you attached to it and the characters involved.



And of course, the final scene of Reservoir Dogs is hard to beat.
