A Gus prequel series would be awesome as well. Could show his meteoric rise (similar to Walt) and end with him on top of his empire.

Yeah but a Gus oriented serie would have been to similar to breaking bad.

With Saul, in can have a lighter tone within the same universe.

You seem to have used the phrase "similar to breaking bad'" to imply some sort of negativity.
