This poll is for the first movie only, not the trilogy or the overall franchise.

I just got done browsing around for some info on the movie. I read some interesting details about the making of the movie, how it was received and what impact it has had on the industry. I found it interesting that it was added to the National Film Registry in 2012.

So, I'm curious to see how good of a movie JSP really thinks it is.

Haven't seen it in probably 10+ years, liked it then but from what I can remember it's a 4-5/10er

Considering it came out in 1999! Easy 10 for me. One of those movies that has stuck with me and if it is on tv I will watch it.

Voted 9 but its definitely 9+.. If only the sequels were up to the original's level

It was pretty good for it's time. It wasn't the first movie to use the "bullet time" concept but it definitely popularized it.

The first one was entertaining. I'd give it a 7. Overall, 4-5.

i thought parts of the beginning were a bit cheesey. not the immediate opening scene, but where he follows the white rabbit and meets trinity. i also wasnt a big fan of the trinity actress. but otherwise i really enjoyed it.
