Can't wait! Although them taking it away from the book is going to be a slippery slope.

Pretty damn good actually. Stephen King is an executive producer so they're staying true to the book though they said they're going to deviate from the ending and expand it a little bit.

And I learned something new. It was originally slated for showtime, imagine it on a pay channel, heh.

Just watched the 6 eps. It's definitely a step up for a CBS show. It still has many instances of trite plot devices and corny one-liners that make bad TV bad, but overall there is more good to the show IMO.

I do like how the show isn't afraid to kill people, although I don't think Junior is set up to be killed. They need antagonists inside the dome to create the fear and drama. The only other character that could serve the role is Big Jim and he's only half-bad at worst.

As much as I like their propensity for killing characters off, it can't keep up too much longer or else they will be out of characters. I suppose they could keep introducing random townspeople and turning them into major characters to fill the spots, but this doesn't seem likely.

I hate this idea. Show is good and all but it seems like it seriously needs to be wrapped up in one season. 2 will become 3 then 4 and before you know it its just another show that leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I was far more excited when it was suppose to stick to one season now i just fear they will fuck it up something awful.
