Apparently it's supposed to be one of the scariest in a while?

It was filmed to be a PG-13 movie, but it was so scary that it's rated R based on the scare factor alone (which is rare).

I love me some horror movies, anyone seen it yet? Hopefully it's as good as advertised, because good scary movies are few and far between these days.

Only one I've been looking forward to since Insidious, which was pretty slow. Part 2 coming out in winter.

Yeah Insidious is about the closest thing to a "scary" movie recently.

There are so many lame ones that come out, just flat out cheesy as fuck. The Conjuring has gotten some really good reviews, people are saying it's pretty scary so hopefully it's a good one. I love horror/scary movies, but there are so few these days.

Is insidious worth watching? I'm thinking of watching the Conjuring.

It's pretty good compared to recent horror movies -- like DarkMarine said.
I would recommend it. However, it is a little slow and the ending isn't so great.

end of insidious is only reason to watch it imo
ending is awesome compared to movie

I thought sinister was also a pretty good horror movie, haven't seen many good ones lately.
