3 shows to watch:(in order)

SOPRANOS
OZ
BREAKING BAD

all other shows of this genre lack depth, originality, cunning and atleast a few MOTHER FUCKING BAD ASS SENIORS CMON SHED SOME LIGHT ON OL GRAMPA JACK

Those are great shows (well IDK about Oz since I haven't watched it, but I both watched and love Sopranos and Breaking Bad).

However, nothing beats The Wire. I haven't seen a single crime drama show, nor any actual show of any genre, that beats The Wire in depth, characterisation, dialogue, and just a purely brilliant depiction of the crime world.

Although maybe it lacks its bad ass senior.

But... uh... who's the badass senior from Breaking Bad? I honestly can't think of one for the life of me.
EDIT: Seriously, I'm staring at this thread scratching my head trying to think of one. Not a clue

I recently watched the wire up to halfway through the second season. I am not sure if it is due to my lack of attentiveness but i just could not seem to get into it, meh maybe for another day.

As for the bad ass senior, I am referring mainly to Mike, although Don Salamanca i'm sure had his fair share of whoop ass off the screen in his earlier days, I mean he did raise the cousins.

When i said that i was mainly referring to Uncle June and Bob Rebadow off of Oz , although he is mainly just crazy:p
