******* POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD, PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK *********

In episode 8 ("Second Sons"), Daario Naharis speaks the words "valar morghulis" which have relevance to the faceless men in Braavos (right?). I was just curious if Daario was possibly another faceless man from the same sect of assassins that Jaqen H'ghar is from. I haven't read any of the books and don't really know the backstory of the characters past what we have seen in the show.

Not only does the words he spoke lead me to believe that he might be a faceless man but also because of how easily he slipped past the unsullied legions protecting Daenerys. He managed to kill an unsullied without alerting any others, sneak past the camps, and get into her tent unnoticed. Not to mention he killed the other captains of the Second Sons and didn't seem to give half a shit about it.

What do you guys think?

"Valar Morghulis" is a very common phrase among people who speak Valyrian. In the show alone, Dany's translator said it to her, and Melisandre said it to Thoros. (Or was it the other way around?) The coin Jaquen H'gar gave Arya was really more important than the phrase anyway.

While Daario's ability to collect the Second Sons' captains' heads and sneak into the camp are impressive, I don't really consider those enough implicate him as a faceless man. Anyway, the detail of him successfully sneaking his way up to Danaerys was added in the show. In the book, the Unsullied caught him trying to sneak in, and they brought him to her. He still had their heads in a sack, but we know it doesn't take a Faceless Man to behead two people.

By the way, you should just keep this in the official discussion thread. It can get annoying when people start a new topic on a show that's already being discussed.

Simple answer: This theory has been around for awhile. There's even some different info in the books that could be viewed as supportive.

Hmmm, interesting. Guess that kind of thwarts my hypothesis then. And just for the record, I wasn't even aware that there was an official GoT thread. Haven't seen too much discussion in this forum regarding the show (surprisingly).
