Hey, so who has seen it yet? I just found that M83 (One of my favorite bands) does the entire soundtrack and it's pretty amazing. How is the film though?

Heard it was visually stunning, tom cruise nailed his role and morgan freeman is morgan freeman, so nothing more to be said, while a bit thin in the script, though I also heard that it was hard to follow for some people which leads me to believe that they weren't paying attention and I'll probably enjoy it. Also heard that anyone who likes scifi should enjoy it. Going to see it next week with the old lady.

I actually heard it was NOT scfi at all, and should have been advertised as another "Tome Cruise is so awesome he saves the world again in very Action-like fashion" Action Movie.

Hard to follow? Not at all?

Good cgi and allright cinematography but vanilla to the extreme, meh.

Guess I'll wait for the Blu-Ray. Maybe I'll buy the soundtrack now though. This is pretty much what I've heard from others aswell. Good visuals, Good Sounds, just MEH story.

If you are a sci-fi (or blockbuster) fan then it's kind of worth checking out too. Because it's mainly visual film I'd say its still better to watch in theater, maybe matine for cheaper if you have a chance.

I like M83 too but for some reason didn't really notice the soundtrack.

stunning film to look at - if your going to watch it at all, watch it on the big screen - predictable 'twist' though in my opinion, I mean take away the stunning visuals and effects and it's a pretty bland concept, nothing ground breaking. Cruise was solid in his role, however freemans character (though important) was more of a cameo as he gets a total of about 10 mins screen time.

To sum up the film was meh, but watch it
