The Americans is an obvious recommendation from me, but The Wire...how the fuck is not in most people's list of tv shows they have seen.

I think the wire was way ahead of the game when it premiered, but i think people miss out on it because it's that little bit older.. And for some reason (even when asking for film recommendations) people want very new stuff - as opposed to very quality stuff

Also I've not seen the Americans :/ gz?

If you like scifi, there's defiance. It's a tv show and a video game.
