will always put the sopranos and the wire high up there, but wondering what you guys think is the best

Thats a tough question.

My personal favorite was buffy the vampire slayer season 7. Sunnyvale destroyed, the hellmouth closed. Especially given that the story continued in the comic and some story arcs in angel.
The most hated ending to a series was angel, since they cancelled it early and we didn't get to see what happened after the senior partners pulled LA into hell. Except in the comic, the comic storyline should've been in the tv series.

Hmm sopranos? the ending dissapointed me you dont know what happens :/

It's kinda obvious. Every time the door opened, you see a Tony PoV shot of the door. The last time the door opened, you see nothing. I wonder why?

The Wire was my favourite series ending. But then, it's also my favourite series, so I may be biased here. I'll have to think harder.

hehe true I watched it half stoned and was like wtf! I wanted to see rather than think oh yeah they prob got whacked lol.
