They can easily kill them off if they tried, instead they leave them there.

That sword alone could have been used.. not only are they slow, but even one person can easily swing around and kill half those walkers.

THey can kill probably like 1/4 of them just by sticking the sword through the fence and shortening their numbers even more.................. yet they leave them? lol mind set in that show is terrible

i watched this show and thought of the same thing, "why dont they get every single zombie in the state/ country to come up to their fence? they can stab them through it and slowly kill every zombie on earth."
obviously it would take a friggen long time but what do they do all day anyway?

but the only thing i can come up with not killing them is because eventually the bodies would stack up so high that zombies could climb over other zombie bodies over the fence

why would they waste time killing the zombies inside (and fix the fence)? the governor will take it down again if they fix it

Why kill them in the courtyard when the fece connecting the wild&courtyard was knocked down?
They will just continue to raid in there, day after day. Yeah, you could keep killing and killing...
But the main priority right now is protecting themselves from other humans.

Uhh what a dumb come back.

If something happens to the prison, they now have to deal with those zombies.... if they have to escape...they just made it infinitely harder by not killing them. If something breaks through their final defense, now you got those hordes to deal with on top of everything else.

Otherwords, they are stupid for not dealing with them.. they could EASILY deal with them with relatively little danger
