Anyone watch the premier? Thoughts?

Personally I thought it was pretty cheesy but somewhat entertaining.

Not nearly as cool as Robot Wars on the old TechTV though..

is it like that old robot fighting show? was in a big square and some different traps and such in the area?

no thats Robot Wars, which I loved.

this has 2 people working together as a team to control a giant boxing robot against another giant boxing robot

I actually enjoyed it. The father and daughter duo got their ass whooped then came around and whooped the best team's ass.
I want to see a robot head fly off.

It's like Real Steel right?

I havent seen Real Steel so I cant compare



they are a bit more mobile than rock em sock ems but still have limited mobility
