just saw it was released on dvd and im thinking bout renting it

reviews on rotten tomatoes are terrible but there not always 100% accurate

thoughts w/o spoilers?

it's great.

Fight scenes, badass.
Russell Crowe? badass.
Story? very choppy and haphazard.
RZA? what the fuck were they thinking?

Given that RZA directed the movie, it's understandable that it kind of fell flat as a Tarantino production. Glad they didn't link it to Django Unchained despite their intention to.

It's worth a rental but I wouldn't buy it on blu-ray or dvd.

good lord that was terrible
Russel Crow and Lucy Lu did great jobs but RZA.....

terrible acting on his part and the story/script was horrendous

the whole movie i just wanted RZA to die a horrible death....

It takes a true fan of the genre to look past the rza's acting.

I thought it was pretty good.

It's an entertaining movie, that's all.

Rza didn't do that bad seeing he isn't an actor lets see Russel crow or Lucy lu go and make one of the best rap albums of all time

they couldn't even come close.

he was director/produce/star/edited the movie/etc and made a damn fun movie to watch.

if you take this movie seriously, it's absolutely terrible. if you're there to have fun, see a lot of fighting and action and blood then this movie is amazing.

edit: also 'presented by quentin' = rza sat him down and showed him the edited film and it was like 4 hours long. he then re-edited it into the 90 minute movie, haha.
