Does this show get any better?

I'm 5 episodes in, and it's just so boring. It really reminds me of BSG, but I was actually able to watch all 80 or so episodes of Battlestar...

When I first asked about the Stargate series', people were saying that SGU was nowhere near as good as SG1 and SGA, and I definitely agree o.O

always thought that show was dull imo lol

I liked it. always wanted to learn more about origins of the stargate universe ... unfortunately the show never got a chance to get there

I thought it was up to par with the rest of the stargate shows.

Some pretty epic adventures and battles. Still the occasional boring "filler like" episode.

Yeah, after 6 boring episodes,finally got to one where something happened.
However, after that, they were back to a boring episode....
It's only two seasons so I'll probably try to finish the series.

Not quite the ratio I would agree on... If you thought the entire 6episodes were "that" boring then maybe you should just quit watching lol.

Once I git past the intro and learning the characters I enjoyed it.

I'm sure it'll get more interesting as it progresses. I think I'm on the 8th episode, the last two were much better than the first four or five.

I guess I just had much higher expectations. The general trend seems to be that short-lived sci-fi shows are usually Ungodly good lol
It could be worse I suppose.

Yeah best to try and have as little expectations as possible when watching any show/movie.

That way you can appreciate a show simply for what it is.
