Still waiting for the rest of the cast to sign on. So far it looks decent.

Only complaint I have is from reading the leaked plot it is alot different from the original story.

Then again is any X-Men move the same as the story we grew up on?

Getting worse? First class (which what this movie will be the sequel to) was well received by critics and audiences alike.

@OP, going to be interesting to see how they tie the fantastic four reboot into the x-men universe.

Can't hey say his opinion, not the consensus of critics? Didn't care for the last two either. (Not sure would I like X-men 3 at all anymore, found it kinda fun, though silly when it came though)

Yeah, X2 and 3 were huge disappointments for me, first class was interesting for sure but I just feel like those 3 lack the quality that the original had.

I'll save my judgement though, until I actually watch the new one

Maybe im just one of those guys but I really wish they'd stop making franchises such as this. The first 2 xmen movies were pretty good. 3rd one...... not so much. I just think the story has been told don't need to fill it in with everyone's back story. But Hollywood is a business i suppose and they need to make money. I will still watch them though so i guess that would make me a hypocrite i suppose.

the only one in this franchise that should be considered poor story telling is the origins. 1,2,3 and first class all had great stories to them. to say otherwise is what i like to call "grandpa syndrom" where you overrate the original stuff you watched as a kid and underrate everything else that "sullies" your image of it such as sequels.

Agreed, first class was the best of all atm imo, wolverine was overral great;

Did you also enjoy Battleship and the last Transformers movie? Let me guess, decent flicks right? Thought so...
