So, some weeks ago I started watching prison break, and I liked it very much already from episode 1.

I watched all four seasons withing a week. Yeah, much time, i know hahaha But a good show is a good show...

Now, is there anyone prison break viewers who can help find a specific episode where you watch michael in his apartment trying to remember the pipe-system under fox river?

This would be within the first 4-5 episodes in season 1 (at a guess, though I vaguely remember he has apartment flashbacks on several occasions)

i can't recall schofield ever trying to remember the pipe-system at all, other than when he burns his left shoulder and it takes his tattoo of the blue prints off...

why would he be trying to remember it in his apartment before he went to prison?

i remember a scene where he stands in his apartment, moving little pieces of papers on a wall trying to remember how it looks. Maybe i'm wrong and it's not the pipe-system, but he is trying to remember SOMETHING.

hmmmm i can kinda remember something in my head, ill let you know if it comes to me.

the flashback to the apartment is showing him trying to remember the whole pipe system by memory, which he finds impossible and leads to him deciding to get the full body tattoo instead.

the flashback occurs in one of the episodes after he burns it, because he mentions that he had tried to memorize it before
