What *really* happens to Tony? We can assume that he dies, and I do think he deserves it (especially for what he did to Christopher), but I do like to think he didn't die right there in that scene as well.

Don't stop believin'.

I kinda hate that, honestly. I like when it's known what happens to the cast.

Pretty sure he dies in the diner and they just didn't want to make a spectacle out of his death

Hmm, I could see that I guess. I hate that answer, but it would be thematically on point.

"You probably don't even hear it when it happens, right? Just... fade to black."

Which is exactly what happened.

Yeah, I heard that people mass called their cable companies and stuff thinking they missed the ending and they were soooo mad lol.

90% certain he was shot. My personal theory is that the guy in the beginning of the series, with the grey jackeeeet ^^, members only, was in relations with Gene somehow, and that he was taking revenge on Tonee-onee for pushing him to suicide. It's that complex.

But it could be many things. There are many dropped ^^ hints during the last season.

If you look at him, he sort of looks like Gene also. Same rough type look. Yeah, no doubt in my book. Tony Uncle Johnny should definitely have been more careful there. I can't believe he let him give him the slip, into the toilet like that. Just ... very out of character.

But i can sort of understand it too, psychologically. I am a pretty good hobby psychologist, you know. The war with NY was just over. That's a huge sigh of relief. Now he can relax. And he did, a little bit. Just enough to get off'd.

One has to be kind of sad, because he wasn't a complete nutjob. Just a halfway one, lol.

There are very good elements to the sopranos. I've watched it perhaps 10 times... of course i have it on second screen while gaming n chattin on the first big screen. But i of course follow the action and listen all the time. So i blow through episodes like tony blows through rigatoneeeee ^^ I'm not schtoopid.

I guess it is a safe bet that he was probably shot, especially due to the famous quote; "You probably don't even hear it when it happens, right? Just... fade to black." Which is exactly what happens.

Do you believe that Christopher deserved to die? I know that after the crash tony looks back and sees the car seat... And he believes that Christopher is a loose cannon and can't be trusted to stay on the straight and narrow. But I think Tone was too harsh.

Yeah, that is a pretty strong indicator.

You know that's one of the more interesting things about the show. The thing is this. When you look at their birth charts, they have some interchanging energies. Der Bingle has sun virgo 3rd decan, meaning virgo/taurus. Moon capricorn first decan = double capricorn. That is like a true earth character, all the three earth energies in one package. Mercury is libra though, second decan, close to third... meaning his intellect and way of thinking is drawn towards air, meaning quick thinking, which also is compelled by the virgo sun placement. Though there is strong anchoring by the capricorn and taurus energy. This is a recurring thing in the series. He is quick to make decisions, yet grounded - but also very stoic and hard to deal with, does not forgive certain things.

Christopher is a horse of quite a different hue. Sun aries first decan, already there is a very strong contrast to the boy king. First decan aries is the first fire sign and the first zodiac sign - the energy of pure initiative, mostly acting without thinking, which explains why he is so good with his gun, and fists too. Though here is a strong contradiction to his main personality; His moon is in taurus third decan; Taurus/capricorn. That is coincidentally my sun sign ^^ so i understand that one very well. Having this moon placement, means his emotional inclination is more drawn to the arts, and the "occasional f'ing up"-energy ^^ which i am all to familiar with. It is the energy of letting go of control and opening one's mind to what's beyond the normality of things. This is why he feels contradicted throughout the series - along with tony being a strict and old school boss (very earth like), means he does not feel free to explore life as he wants. Mercury in pisces third decan; Pisces/scorpio, retrograde, also means his mind becomes very sensing, adding to his shooting prowess, but also gives him strong emotional depression bouts which his aries sun lets out in form of violence and drugs.

The whole series revolves quite a lot around these two energy clashes, though of course with the other characters too.

The fact that they simply were in business from the start, means chris had no chance. Tony was, to quote Uncle June, which very correctly deviced, too "locked up in that head a his". He had been drilled to be strict, and what's more, he gave his promise to chris' dad to see chris through.

The entire thing was done from the start. There was nothing anyone could do. It almost feels like they thought of all this, because if you notice, Chrissy had a strong hang towards the movie busines - and almost all of the new york bosses carmine("brainless the second" ^^), phil and john, all were leo's ^^ i.e. fire energy. And at least when it came to carmine, chris cooperate well with him. Carmine just took the art of playing stupid to perfection, and it annoyed the hell out of tony ^^ but there again, tony could not see everything changing - making millions from movies is much less risky and more profitable than crime. And i think that is the direction carmine wanted to go ("that's not how i wanna handle it"). He just wanted everyone to kill themselves so he would have less risk to die himself. And to hell with anybody else (tony, NJ..).

Rest of answer comes in 30 minutes.... since last warn i can't post anything anywhere or such.... i basically consider myself destitute in this website now.
