Episode 1. Sauron one of the most terrifying and powerful beings of Middle earth who basically created the orcs has to simp for followers and fail. Not only did he fail to inspire any fear he gets himself completely owned and dies. Turns into some kind of goo that rolls around. What the actual fuck?

Gets captured and convinces adar of a possibility that sauron is somewhere among the elves... Make sense somehow.

I guess the writers of the show are on a strict soy juice diet. *insert menaical Bezos laugh.

Have opted to just not watch. Not giving support just like Wheel of time s2, Witcher, etc.

Views give it success and reinforcement.

Scared to watch, don't want to be disappointed

Prime studio should just stop doing high fantasy, and leave it to HBO. I just finished watching wheel of time season 2, they simply dont have the budget or the special effect team to carry the show. being a book reader of wheel of time, cutting corner is understandable but this just embarrassing.

Watching reviews is more entertaining than the show. It's like they don't try anymore. Sauron kneeling and waiting to be crowned by some orc is the most beta thing I ever witnessed. Next episode watch sauron handing out flyers please vote sauron "I promise to make mordor great again!"

Just finished episodes 2 and 3.

No more I can't, even if I were to pretend to not have read books or see previous movies it would still be a really bad show. It's a snooze fest, literally nothing that's interesting, never mind the lore breaking it just doesn't make any sense. Galadriel is chasing Elrond then he dissapears and she is instantly stopped by the guards who pop out of nowhere and already know everything. I legit thought that I maybe skipped 5-10 mins of story nope it was pure editing. Completely removed any sense of immersion.
Orcs are now people with feeling and want to bring up children in safe environment. Yea they actually trying to humanise them... Why am I surprised there is a social justice warrior trying to subvert perception of orcs as a misunderstood race of rather nice people who have been vilified by Hollywood as the bad guys... Orcs lives matter is basically episode 2 you can't make this shit up.

Episode 3 is... Fuck I legit forgot something about making more rings and some random eagle landed then flew away for reasons??

Maybe they'll get it righ.. Nope, season 2 is hot trash!

Tolkien wrote volumes of lore for the content,
It's inexcusable for the show to portray it any other way.

Even if you were born yesterday and had 0 knowledge of lore it would still be hot trash. It's a billion dollar money laundering scheme can't convince me otherwise.

I liked that tom bombadil showed up, but yeah, its been underwhelming
