The Inside this episode covered this. Yes, he knew. He was a fragile boy and had Cersei just been there to comfort him, he surely wouldn't have jumped out the window. She and she alone failed him and directly caused his death.

I can see it now... enemies storming the gate, her in utter sorrow realizing that everything she'd ever done in her life was in vain and then Jamie's hands reaching around and crushing the fucking life out of her. I think I'm more excited for her death than I have been for any other fictional character in my life.

if its true then thats gonna suck balls unless they release another 6 eps much sooner, that would be alright
