I still haven't changed my mind about shit writing during those epidoes and it was only bad from about ep 6 I had no problems with previous. And I enjoyed every single ep in previous seasons.

So I started thinking about Tommen.

Did he know Cersei was responsible for blowing up the Sept? There was definitely enough info available to him to be able to figure it out, but he has proven to be dumb as rocks time and time again. Also, the emotional impact of what he just saw may have made him even less capable of processing things than his normal self.

Did he know that Cersei was not in the Sept when it blew up? She was supposed to be there at that time. Being locked alone in his room, he might have been confused about what was going on.
