Season finale episode is called “The Dragon and the Wolf” and it's 79min 43sec long.
And then that feeling of emptiness when it's over realizing another approx 12 months have to pass until final season..

The wiki says "expected to premiere in late 2018/early 2019" which means we can expect it to be on the later side of course, so 2019

I actually like that the season depicting a lot of wintery conditions will be airing during winter. Hopefully it starts on the first Sunday in February, meaning it can end on the 2nd week in March. Then the spring in the show can coincide with the spring in a lot places in the real world.

another interesting bit I noticed on the wiki:

The final season could contain multiple episodes of up to two hours long in length and could be the longest season to date, even though the season only contains 6 episodes.

At this point, why don't they just go full bore and start sending those episodes to theatrical releases.

Coming to a theater near you next spring, watch as Jon "the king in the north" snow and Daenerys "Mother of dragons" targaryen team up in SAVING YARA GREYJOY.

I hope she dies. Useless story line that bores me.

At least Theon has a little bit of a back story and we'd get some satisfaction if Jon killed him.....

Euron destroyed the shitty Sand Snake plot, maybe he'll wrap up those two for us as well.

Fingers crossed.

1) I hope this isn't a serious question
2) I hope you aren't actually upset about more GoT awesomeness.

Hopefully the potential Dany/Jon sex scene is graphic af. They've been slacking on the nudity this season...

Personally, I'm looking for a rough bdsm-style death scene when Cersei finally decides to go down and put Ellaria out of her misery.
