The Harfoot stuff is the best. If the show had been only them then I'd be much more on board

bad points-

Galadriel is annoying enough that it might get me to quit watching if they don't introduce some characters flaws this season.

I didn't care about the whole "black elf" thing when I first heard about it. But now that I see he's a main character, it just feels so weird. And having him with a hot white chick? Almost feels like they are trying to be as woke as possible to bait people into raging. Maybe it'll seem less weird as they develop the characters, for now I'm lukewarm on it all.

Succession and Barry are currently in a league of their own with BCS over.

I love the Boys and its a very fun show. That alone can't compete with the amount of quality HBO pumps out.

In terms of hierarchy of streaming services they are pretty far behind HBO and Netflix in terms of good content.

First of all, i am still asking myself this question 'what the hell did i just watch?'

I am not super nerd for LOTR , yet i've watched trilogy 10-15 times so far. Because it was a masterpiece, books are masterpiece.

This? This one is cringefest. To bleach my eyes, i am going to watch LOTR trilogy in one sit tomorrow!

The fact that his entire storyline so far has been about the racism his character faces is way too on the nose and would've been more poignant and less slapping you in the face if the character was white. Also no other black elves anywhere is really strange.

Good 3rd episode. It's starting to take shape and was much more focused. Númenor was great.

Haven't watched this yet. I've heard bad things from most people.

It's honestly fine. Some of the Harfoot stuff feels really uhhh... artificial or something? As if theyre trying too hard to sell their identity? I cant put my finger on it. Black elf doesnt bother me that much tbh. His character is interesting and he does a good job acting the role. Dont think the strong elf lady shit bothers me either. She's zealot levels of passionate has obvious character flaws. There's strong build up from one episode to the next. There are some pretty rough missteps that take you out of the immersion sometimes but the show tends to quickly recover.

I wouldnt call it great or awful but it's definitely watchable. Anyone saying otherwise is probably a retard.
