Actually it did. Without StarCraft there would be no dota/other similar games.

By that argument, Warcraft 1 invented that game type .... and that logic could carry onto the first-ever RTS

Considering the first "moba" (shitty incorrect term btw) was a sc1 ums game called Aeon of Strife, which inspired euls to make dota on wc3, it is perfect logic.

Guinsoo took over dota from euls(who apparently went to work for valve, if the rumors are true). Then icefrog took over from guinsoo (this is when dota started getting super popular). Guinsoo then went on and used his connection to dota to get funding to make league of legends and coined the term moba(which was already a term used to describe a completely different type of custom game on wc3. Guinsoo can suck a hairy nut imo). And icefrog eventually went to valve to make dota2.

I didn't say that the logic was flawed, only that it isn't a very meaningful conclusion.

Many things could be plugged in for X and the statement would still be true, such as The American Revolution or photosynthesis. The fact that Starcraft also satisfies the statement doesn't really tell us anything.

Not to mention the fact that I gave you the history of the game actually does tell you everything so... Not sure what you're looking for here, other than looking like an idiot.

Damn... if Space Invaders was never created, we would not be playing any of these games or even discussing this shit. We would all be sitting in the lounge room and using paper and pencil playing damn Dungeons and Dragons.

Shit get over it, basically these games were created by those who loved playing Dungeon and Dragons, only thing changed was technology and low n behold... it is now played on a computer and you don't have to use maths to work out the dmg etc.
