Gorilla Grodd and Lex Luthor alternatively (not by choice) lead the Crime Syndicate (basically the opposite of the justice league).

He's a pretty badass super villain.

He's a criminal mastermind
hopefully they don't ruin his origin story by giving him powers from the blast
