Yeah, me neither. What would be the point in letting him live? His village was already destroyed in the first episode. Everyone he loves is dead. All he has left is the cause. If he survives, that just means he fled the Romans, which would probably be a much more bitter end than his death. And it would mean he did nothing to battle slavery.

To me, the real tragedy would be if everything Spartacus did was for nothing. If anything, I hope for an end where he wins some sort of moral victory against slavery. Like, for example, maybe he beats Crassus' army with heavy losses, and holds Crassus and Caesar as hostage while Pompey is closing in on him. He then agrees to spare their lives if they use their influence to alleviate the harshness with which slaves are treated. After they're let go, and Pompey kills Spartacus and the remains of his army, Crassus and/or Caesar try to push laws against abusing slaves, or they free their slaves, or something like that.

Would be awesome if the finale was 2 hours instead of 1 hour..... hard to believe an hour will be enough for it all

They should follow history and kill off everyone. Having said that, they have changed a few things such as killing Tiberius. He never actually died in this war.

But I guess they have to kill one of the main Romans, and they can't kill Crassus or Caesar lol

Tiberius didn't actually exist. (Or we didn't know of any son he had, especially not one taken to war.)

Obviously they have taken a lot of creative license for all the little details that aren't covered. But as far as the major events go, they have been pretty accurate. (Though not always in the right order.) But saying Tiberius never died is like saying that Barca never died. They are both completely fictional.

The fact that Spartacus died made me a little mad though. The fact that last Bad Guy was still alive.

I nearly cry when Gannicus was fighting. He was my favorite.

This episode almost made me cry.. But I did hold it back I guess..

Awesome episode man, I have to re watch the whole show sometime !
