Better than going step for step out of the "I'm not capable of having an intelligent conversation" handbook. You constantly saying I'm mad is never going to make it true.

People wearing other people's faces, dragons, men turning to stone monsters, people being raised from the dead, evil shadow demons being born and killing people, an all seeing cripple, but where your imagination draws the line is the most feared mythical creature of all time being about to kill a dragon will a special attack...

@ Zark - It just doesn't seem like you're grasping how impossibly infeasible it would be to have 10 filler episodes at this point with literally nothing happening to make the travel time seem more legitimate. They could have been there for a few weeks for all we know. There's no way to know. Would you rather GoT just be cheesey as fuck and do the "Two weeks later" bit?

They were there for a night; Thoros wouldn't have lasted any longer, and they'd be beyond weakened and exhausted if they had been there for any longer (impossible to put up the fight they did).

I understand the inconvenience of making too many filler scenes and episodes, but the solution is simple: avoid the scenes and situations that make this silly insta-travelling necessary. In the last episode, they could have just escaped after a chase and saved the dragon conversion for later; or the walkers could have killed them all and capture Jon (or he could be left isolated in his escape), and the Dany would fly to the rescue and have her dragon killed. Or just something completely different. The possibilities are close to infinite in a fantasy series.

Do people expect the show to have 48 hour long episodes that show every second lol?

Gendry ran off during daylight. He got to the wall when it was dark. Clearly teleported. Dany flew on a 737. Clearly it should have taken her longer. Zzz...

How dare anyone criticize such a great show! So out of line for people to notice and point out that they aren't putting as much effort into storytelling aspects or realistic time frames. Don't you know that the GOT writers are doing everything in the best and only way possible to wrap up the show by the end of next season?

Look, I love the show as much as the next guy, but that doesn't mean that everything we see should be seen as being flawless. I still enjoyed every episode this season, but that doesn't mean that there aren't lazy writing moments in the show.

Has this thread become strictly a worship GOT thread, or is it a place for discussion of both the good and... Not as good?

That's not it at all.

I've said multiple times that it was irritating and I also believe it's lazy writing. I also know that without adding an extra 2 whole seasons of filler, or overall boring and purposefully drawn out bullshit, that there's not many feasible ways this could happen. Short of seeing a walker, Cersei is NEVER going to believe Danny. That's the only plausible way she comes to her senses. (which we all know she won't in the long run, but she'll work with them in the short term or Jaime will). There's no way they get out of there alive without Danny assisting. Either way, people are going to be upset here. Either everyone but John does and he survives because of some stupid shit that doesn't make sense, or Danny teleports and everyone survives so they can die later in more epic ways and people complain about that. Yes, the tele shit is lazy, but I can't personally think of any other way to get it to work and I'm usually pretty good at predicting stories or writing them myself.

It's just a silly thing to be worked up over. It's a silly thing to ruin an overall amazing show.

That's my personal opinion and I'm def open to ANY ideas from others on how they think Cersei could have been convinced to not backstab Danny/John when they went North besides having a White and if you'd really rather have an entire season of John and company sleeping in turns and cuddling for warmth to stay alive North of the wall, than I'm sorry that you were deprived of that. They could have done it.

@ Chelsea - For someone who's no longer responding to me, you sure do seem to cry a lot about everything I say.

Once again. I apologise for typos. On a new phone and I'm horribly unfamiliar with it and don't have the time to double check everything at work.

Agreed. Every show has flaws. This show has flaws. There are many great things about this show as well. If you consider every factor and add it all up, GoT comes out way ahead of any other show. It's probably going to go down as the greatest show of all time.

One thing that baffled me last night, was Jon in my head had to take a single swipe at the Ice bear and it would of shattered, based on the Hardhome episode. Saving atleast one life.

I think Jon gains control of the ice dragon at some point, just my far fetched opinion.

I enjoy everyone's comments, have for several seasons, keep them up!

I can understand criticism but a lot of the stuff people are complaining about are pretty ridiculous lol.

Yea. It's probably my #2 atm behind breaking bad, but could possibly pass it as my favorite of all time.
