Death has his ring, he was seen wearing it in the season 7 episode Meet the new boss. No idea where the other rings went.

Didn't the ring vanish as he threw lucifer into the pit, or did it stay on earth and he picked it up?
I can not remember what they did with it.

Meet the new boss was after the lucifer in the cage. When castiel took the souls from purgatory and went around being god.
Don't know how he got it but he has it.

Deaths ring is the only one talked about after the pit. Death hid it until Dean had to use it to be death for a day, then Dean gave it back to death.

/e: though the first time the portal was opened the rings stayed where it closed. So presumably they are laying in the cemetary somewhere. Possibly moved by the weather or taken by death.

Honestly im surprised Death hasnt intervened.

I know he doesnt want to..... but everything metatron did, disturbed the "natural" state that death always wants to maintain, he even said himself.
He doesnt want to intervene most of the time because it will disturb the natural flow....

But having angels on earth, so much killing and everything metatron did, is NOT the natural flow.. so why isn't death intervening to fix it, which he can with the snap of his fingers

Maybe the actor is hard to get a hold of? Since he's making movies, instead of shows

But I do love his character, he plays it so well!

Makes me wonder who brought Castiel back when Lucifer exploded him.

God or Death?

Why hasn't Death done anything, why did God leave and where is he. A lot of questions I feel wont be resolved quickly, if ever.

God did. They covered that around the time it happened.
As for why he left, he was fed up with his creation.

All just speculation by Angels.

I guess Angels in particular would make decent educated guesses when it comes to gods work
