The question here is: How much of that decision was made by Sansa and how much by Baelish?

Baelish is not going to walk the KotV into the first wave, even if he knows he will win. This is not really 'their battle'. No, he's very shrewd. He's going to let the Northeners beat each other up, then swoop in easily at the end and claim victory with as few losses as possible to his own. Exactly how Tywin did it at the end of Robert's war and again at the Blackwater.

Why do so many of you seem to miss the entire point of sansa not speaking up about littlefinger? They show made it very obvious she did want want his help or anything to do with him at all. She only wrote the letter after realizing she HAD to. She didnt tell them at first cause they would have made her bring him in and she wanted nothing to do with him. Once she realized she HAD to it was matter of not wanting to be bitched at for holding out on them. Its simple as hell and everyone seem to miss understand it.

It doesn't matter why she did it, she's still an idiot for doing it. She'd risk everything because of her own pride? Fuck that, if you've got the means to win a crucial battle, holding back because of your own petty feelings is weak and it jeopardizes the lives of everyone around you. I understand why she did it, she's still a stupid twat for doing it though. Not to mention that John is another too fucking noble Stark. He'd probably tell Sansa she didn't have to bring him in if she'd simply conveyed why she didn't trust him. Something could have been worked out on how best to handle him following the hypothetical victory. John doesn't know much about the man, but Sansa is fully aware of what a snake he is, it seems like it'd be in everyone's best interest if you informed your commander of a deceitful conniving fuck with an army who also happens to be in close proximity of you....

Yeah it would have been great. Then Jon could have marched them to death too when he charged out like an idiot.
