I don't get how you guys can say this. The episode that set things up are the more interesting ones in this show.

This battle shit is just a formality of completing what we expected to happen. There was nothing new introduced here. This is not the 'meat and potatoes' of the Game of Thrones.

Tommen outlawing trial by combat was a more significant moment than Jon or Dany's team winning a fight.

a lot of people enjoy good dialogue and character development, other people want to see more of Daenerys dragons and Jon snow battles , more white walkers and all of that special effects stuff

this season started off well but gone to shit, not having a book before show came out rly hurt it
