I can't stand Catelyn Stark. The only reason why I wasn't that upset about the red wedding is because at least they got rid of her too. Robb and some other bros had to die, but it's worth it to me to not have to deal with Catelyn anymore. I cannot express how happy it makes me to know that I won't have to deal with her as Lady Stoneheart either.

 I had to laugh at her response about how the writers are wanting to make it more gripping etc by leaving her dead.
Shit... if they bought in a zombified bringer of death into the show with witches, dragons and medievel armies etc... it would
make it even better.

I just have to lmao at her response and say... 'what a load of BS, she just doesn't want to come back looking like an old ugly zombie hag!'

...u think she's willing to turn down $$$$$ and be on a major hit show because of her costume? really?

it's the writer's choice, very rarely do the actors themselves turn down a continuation role, and if they do they will usually own up to that with a response from actor saying how they want to pursue something new and fresh and will forever cherish their moments with that show and response from show saying they will miss that actor

or they just keep the character and bring in new actor

Did you read what she stated? Her remark about the writers making it more entertaining etc? I don't think so. But hey... I find it a stupid remark to make and more so pathetic excuse from the writers.
I have never read the books, but to leave out the Harbinger of Death in that type of show is kinda downgrading it.

View the link and what she says first, that is what my comment is about, not the idiotic annotations of incompetent writers thinking they know best. Her response sounds more of a payoff than anything else.

Mm another big change to certain plots then.. At least it keeps us guessing. As good as the character is I'm not too gutted she isn't returning

Her words are just lip service towing the company line, they mean nothing.

the way Lady Stoneheart is constructed, it wouldn't necessarily have to be Fairley. She barely speaks and when she does the voice wouldn't have to resemble her old living voice. She doesn't walk around or even stand up that I can remember. The role could be handled by any women with a build vaguely like hers and a ton of makeup to make her face look like a bunch of mangled flash. Hell, there could even be no actress at all, just a big doll and maybe even some CGI to give it a lifelike quality face.

Meh, that saved us from all but maybe 2 or 3 scenes anyway, people blow her out of proportion. There's the scene at the end of book 3, then after that, I can't recall ever seeing her until Brienne runs into her in boom 5. In between, all I can remember is tales of her fighting the king's men, but no seeing her directly that I can remember.

Meh, as far as I'm concerned I'd cut away 80% of book 4. Nothing good happens, setups take way longer than they need. I read it once, and refused to read it again ever since.

yes i read the article

when ur fired/laid off from a job, it's in ur best interest to not piss off ur previous employers, especially in that industry where u never know if ur going to work with them again

if u compliment their decision, they might hire u for a new job
u trash talk them, kiss ur career goodbye

Stop defending the truth with pidantic logic about the workplace and what society believes what we are to do.
She got paid off &/or manipulated to say those things for their behalf.

Now, how about answering this question.
"Do you believe the writers of the show are correct in leaving out the Harbinger of Doom from this type of TV series?"
