Would be awesome if they started showing two seasons per year, but we know that's not going to happen. George is planing to make at least two more books right? And he's taken forever to make book 6.

What happens once the show has finally caught up with the books and George decides there'll be 8 books?

From what i have read the book author has already given a select few people that work on the show the broad strokes of the ending. They will be able to keep going but will obviously have to fill in a lot of smaller details on there own.

Thread seems to be dying because the show stopped.

Anyone feels like opening a new GoT thread somewhere we can discuss the books and share our thoughts on what will happen next?
