Jessie played Lex Jr. Which a lot of people apparently don't get.

Not according to IMDB and direct quotes from Jesse Esisenberg....

But he isn't.... so why is this relevant? The director, the actor and every single website with any information about this character has him listed as Lex, not Lex Jr.... He just changed the role, not a big deal, but I'm not sure why people are trying to justify it by saying he's someone he's not...

Not to mention that Lex Jr is just a clone of Lex who starts acting like the original eventually. His mannerisms were slightly different but not completely different. Just seems like an excuse people are using to justify the direction that's strayed from the original material. I personally don't care if they do, what works works, just pointless to use these justifications.

You're using IMDB as your counter argument? LOL.

Oh let's forget his official character twitter.

Clearly not Lex Jr.

It has nothing to do with justifying how the character is portrayed, but it does illustrate that people whining that he isn't the lex they know are completely off base when he isn't playing that lex luthor.

The direct quotes from the actor/director are more of the argument, but Imdb and RT also have him listed as Lex. Not to mention it doesn't fit the timeline at all for him to be Lex Jr... Unless I missed Lex dying in a previous movie.
