Honestly the biggest plot hole I found in the movie is how Logan managed to find a cigar in the future.

Scenes like that kind of ruin scenes/movies. I honestly have no idea why that shit makes it in. Am I the only one who doesn't find it funny or even slightly amusing?

I found the biggest blunders to be the fact that Wolverine somehow had his adamantium claws back when he was in the future scenes and cut Kitty with them, when he was jarred awake for that moment after having his memories of Trask. Yet, in that god awful Wolverine movie, Silver Samurai removes his adamantium and cuts them off, leaving him only with his bone claws. Then, they never explained how Charles is still alive after the events of The Last Stand, let alone how he is in his old body, OR the fact that in his new/oid body, he is still confined to a wheelchair for some reason...

It's pretty sad that at this point, Fox literally just doesn't give a fuck about getting the details right, because they know that 99% of the people that go see this trash and morons that won't notice or care. Which, is pretty sad at how accurate they are.

I just assumed when he got his new body he just chose to make it still paralyzed because either A. Too lazy to walk B. He forgot how C. Uses the wheelchair cuz boss

The claws are back because of magneto.

As for Charles it could be because he's been too used to the wheelchair or because his brother who was in a vegetative state ended up having muscular dystrophy. It's not too far fetched.

Stop blaming fox for issues. There could be numerous reasons why certain aspects are not included in movies....especially having to fit a large story in a small amount of movie runtime. Don't ignorant because you don't know these reasons.

Second, the "issues" with dofp may be explained in future movies. Then again, everything is pretty much obvious so maybe they thought they didn't need to spell everything out. The claws, for instance, don't you believe Logan would have done what he could to obtain his adamantium claws back? Think of the storyline continuing even after the movie we watch ends.

They alluded to how Charles lived, but no, they didn't spell it out for the audience.

Finally, you have to understand that making movies is a business and in Hollywood, it always will be. You're ignorant if you don't believe this. They have to cater to the larger audience. Have a little imagination for your unanswered questions, it's not going to kill you.

Nobody gives a shit if you're a "true" fan. Just watch the goddamn movie.

.

They alluded to pretty much every gripe that people have been complaining about and despite having explained it earlier in the thread, people are still struggling to get it. Kind of mind boggling. Guess if it's not spelled out 100%, it's a plot hole even when the info is readily available to anyone that pays attention to the franchise.

Also, it's kind of funny that a movie about time travel and people think that the previous movies are going to stay exactly the same and that the canon established there isn't going to change.

Wait, what do you mean it was Magneto? Where and when did they say anything about it? And Charles's brother? What? You mean Cain Marco? AKA, The Juggernaut? No. Just no. Where and when did they say he had an identical twin brother that he put his conscious into? And if they did... WTF LOL...

1. DOFP - Magneto talks to wolverine about an upgrade when they take a plane to paris. X-men United (2) - Magneto talks about striker being the only other man (the first man being himself) that can manipulate adamantium. It's a direct nod to the comic in a scene where he pretty much removes the adamantium from wolverine's skeleton.
2. Moira is introduced in x-men first class, the same character is introduced again in x-men the last stand, taking care of xavier's twin brother. While they didn't specifically say it in the movie that it was his twin brother, it's safe to say it was given that he looks like xavier and when he spoke he sounded like xavier. Previously in the movie he was discussing the ethics of implanting the consciousness of a powerful mutant in the body of a comatose patient who for all intents and purposes is brain dead (this case study was his brother)
3. DOFP - There's a scene where xavier talks about a procedure that got his legs back at the cost of his power. Because young xavier goes from walking in one scene to wheel chair in the next. In the future, xavier is clearly going to need his powers, hence the wheel chair.
4. Butterfly effect. Time travel in DOFP will pretty much alter the events of previous movies. Which again can explain wolverine's claws if the previous explanation doesn't suit your fancy since he's already lived that life, there's no reason to think he would make things go exactly as they did and result in another the wolverine movie happening where he loses his claws.

Lol, I also unfortunately stayed for the post credits shot of Apocalypse. I had to apologize to my brother for the replacing of our favorite childhood villain with some 100 pound emo kid. Fox literally just doesn't give a fuck about getting anything right. It's pretty unreal at this point.

Except the fact that he was a 100lb emo looking kid when he went by the name En Sabah Nur.....

Be mad that they're not following the comics/shows when you know nothing about the comics, that makes a ton of sense.
