this show does the best job at killing off characters when u least expect it. everythings going great... your mind is relaxed, the suspense is over, BAM! a main character an 2 others are dead in a second. lol.
i kinda of dislike how they killed off clay way after everyone wanted him dead. well, everyone still wanted him dead but the hate wasnt as much as it was 1-2 seasons ago. it could have felt so much better seeing him die, but i kinda felt like i had to force myself to be super happy about it.
that was prob one of my fav episodes of this show. although i feel like i can say that about every second episode or so

Clay had to die. The only reason he was ever left alive was because it would cause problems with the Irish. And then when they saw an opportunity to take out Galan who has history with Clay and use it against Connor, they jumped on it. Clay knew he was dead the second he entered the building when he met Galan or heavily thought he was.
He killed Jax's father (under Gemma's request but Jax doesn't know that) and killed Piney and brought about the demise of Opie. The damage he brought upon the club could not be dealt with anything other than death. That's why Clay acted indifferent and said he understood everything, because he no longer had any power or a card to play. You saw him have shreds of hope here and there, but overall his character was hopeless. And honestly Ron Pearlman has done an amazing job with the Character and is probably the beat acting done on the show. But Clay had to go, it was just a matter of when.
