A few comments about this latest episode:
- Mad props to Tiberus' bodyguard for throwing down his sword and refusing to fight. He was the only Roman that went down with dignity, in my opinion.
- Tiberus is like the Ashur of season 3. He started out okay, but after tragic circumstances, he turned into a real bastard who likes plotting and raping. And in the end, he was killed by the woman he wronged the most (in my opinion). You hate him, but you can't help feeling bad for him for the circumstances that brought him to his tragedy (just like with Ashur).
- Gannicus is a natural showman. I'll bet he spent his days in Batiatus' Ludis wishing that the arena had a similar cliff, so he could perform daring displays at its edge. Gotta love him. He's probably my favourite living character, and second favourite overall (after Oenomaus). Though I have a feeling he's going to die next episode, by attempting to fight 10 Roman soldiers at once with his cock.
- I always love Nasir with his spear. Awesome! One of the best developed characters too, in my opinion.
- Who cried out "for Barca"? lol... are there still people around from way back then, besides Spartacus himself?
- I kinda hate Kore now for killing Tiberius. Not because I like him, but because she risked the lives of 500 people to get her revenge. She didn't know for sure if the bargain would be struck for her. Even Naevia had the good sense not to kill him, as much as she wanted to.
- Past episodes made me really dislike Naevia, but her sparing Tiberius helped redeem her in my eyes. Though I can never forgive her for Attius. (I really liked that guy.)
- No death in this season can ever beat the one of that bald guy in episode 8. "YOU ROMAN CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--"
Thanks for giving me one final laugh this night
