since they decided to put Jon at an underdog seat, they needed to have Littlefinger comes in and saves the day;

I thougt it would of been more impressive to see the Northen Lords rallying to the Starks before the battle not after; we have yet to see the Manderlys and its sort of cheap to have Wyman have his famous speech after the battle is won lol

edit: the episode was great, just saying that they needed to put Jon as an underdog instead of fair fight from both sides, cheaper that way too for the budget(less men)

Makes sense actually.

Jon jumped the gun. So had they had the knights of the vale at the ready, it would've resulted in the same. What allowed the knights to prevail is that they caught them off guard.
Those spears would've decimated the knights of the vale if they were there from the start. Any plan they would've had would've been blown to bits the moment Jon leeroy'd the fuck out of it.

Sansa also didn't want to rely on littlefinger, she knows who he is and what he's capable of. The previews even show why she didn't want to rely on him because now they owe him.
Plus I doubt she was even sure he got the raven. Because raven's aren't a sure thing. Expecting reinforcements and building a plan around them when they aren't a sure thing could cause more issues.

Honestly I don't think things could've of happened any better once that arrow went through Rickon's heart and Jon went full on rage mode.

sure, not like Sansa has a card of just telling the Vale Lords of who really killed Lysa Arryn (I would think Royce would be pretty happy to get rid of Littlefinger, him being the regent of the Vale and him/Eddard Stark were <<close friends>> as he said back in s.4 near the end of the season) or the fact that he has given up Sansa to the Boltons xd

Sansa would kill 2 birds with one stone; have the Vale be loyal to the North/reprise relationships and kill Littlefinger the man that actually killed Eddard Stark(well, he did have the gold cloaks betray him lol)

imagine if the Hound walks up North and sees Sansa/Littlefinger...awkward


anyway, great episode, but I knew ASAP that the Umbers defected to the Boltons(still questionable plot wise), have the Dustins,Reeds,mountain clans all absent from the show and have Manderlys appear after the battle to deliver their speech,(and Glovers telling Sansa/Jon fuck off), the North would be saved by Littlefinger, which is sort of sad when you consider all these Lords/men died fighting in a war because of Littlefinger sorta(having Eddard imprisoned)

just wished again that more Northen Lords would of went to the Starks side...because what is living under the Boltons rule of which consist of a cruel bastard, that killed his father, that his father participated in the worst crime/breaking oath in the North(betraying guest right), Boltons known for flaying (they flayed Lord Cerwyn for not paying taxes), letting Sansa go vs

the Starks rulers of the North for thousands years

The North forgot so far, think they will remember and apologize for not helping the Starks and will fight alongside with em against the White walkes
