this might be the last season.. idk how thier gonna keep the storyline going. since they said it was their only chance getting damon back unless thier gonna pull some bullshit up their ass where they bring him back... plus none of the antagonist came back alive wit them.

maybe if silas/marcos did come back wit them, then i can see another season developing.. but nope

My guess.. Is Bonnie's grandmother made a deal with the other witches to where she'll become the anchor at the last second, relinquishing Bonnie of her fate as the anchor. So it'll keep Bonnie on the living side, and because she and Damon were holding hands, he'll be brought with her.

Don't think it matter since they both are gonna get sucked in at the end?

Based off the camera angle at the very end of the episode, view from behind and creeping up on them in the last few seconds. Hinted at someone approaching them from behind. Let's be honest.. They can't kill off Damon.
