What happened to katherine at the end when she was getting pulled?

nina's so hot they cast her for 3 parts for a while. if they killed her off they'd lose half the male audience.

damon's pretty bad ass when he's not trying to be nice. i hope they kill stefan off instead of him

this is the final season so it wouldn't hurt that much if they killed her off in the last episode.
